Grammy D has been here from Arizona this week--and we've had a fun week! We've had outings everyday--went on a walk on Tuesday around our neighborhood after we picked Grammy D up from the airport, went to Target and JCPenny's on Wednesday, and to (a different) Target and CostCo on Thursday. And, overall, have just spent time hanging out together. Its been a nice help for me to have my mom here--and super nice for mom and Sophie to bond!
Thanks for everything, mom! We look forward to our next visit with you!

Back in Arizona and missing my little princess!! We had lots of talks during our time together, and Sophie was fascinated with my hair...maybe she'll have those natural curls, too. There seems to be a touch of Grampa George in the photo of her smiling up at me, or is that me seeing his very special love shining through Sophie's eyes? I can hardly wait for my next trip to Des Moines. Sophie and I really bonded on this trip. Chrissy and Mike are such natural parents and have such a calm and soothing approach to their baby care. Sophie is, indeed, a lucky little girl.
